From workplace design to MTM analysis at FESTO
We have been using the Halocline software at Festo for planning assemblies and detailed layouts since 2021. It has been an integral part of our planning process for new production systems since 2024. Even in the early conception phase, Halocline enables clear visualisation based on CAD data, which significantly improves the common understanding within the project team.

"With Halocline, we are shaping the future of assembly planning and harmonising creativity and efficiency." Julian Fuchs, MTM specialist
In the construction phase, the STEP model exported from Halocline supports the transition to technical realisation and reduces the effort involved in creating simple components. A virtual design allows us to realistically evaluate the system and validate it in a targeted manner before production.

“Halocline allows us to visualise complex ideas simply and thus unleash creativity in planning." Julian Fuchs, MTM specialist
Halocline also promotes cross-location collaboration through visual process visualisations that enable clear communication without language barriers. With the Performance Mode, assembly and logistics processes can be developed at an early stage, evaluated using the MTM method and tested and optimised in a practical manner using VR glasses.
