New production area for load cells at METTLER TOLEDO

Using the Halocline VR planning software, we have planned a new production area with an area of approx. 1800 sqm. In the process, an existing part of the factory was comprehensively redesigned.

Together with a construction planning company, we analysed the manufacturing processes to determine space requirements and value streams. By using the Halocline library, we were able to initially map all systems and workstations and refine them over the course of time. This enabled us to identify weak points in the arrangement at an early stage and to develop effective solutions. In addition, relevant stakeholders were involved from the outset, which enabled valuable feedback to be gained from production.

As a next step, we plan to design the workstations in detail in Halocline and to simulate the work processes within the tool.
